My necklace arrived a few weeks ago, and I must say (as something of a "pearl snob") that this is an excellent freshwater pearl necklace for the price. It's easily as nice as necklaces selling for twice as much or more on sale. The pearls aren't perfectly round, but they're mostly round and smooth, with a decent luster. The clasp is nice and easier than a fish-hook or filligree clasp to fasten. The necklace is also carefully and well knotted between each pearl. This is a very classic piece appropriate for women of all ages, and at under $15 makes a nice gift if you're starting your holiday shopping. It will need a gift box, as it arrives wrapped in tissue and tucked into a vinyl bag. Processing and shipping were fast. I'm sure the recipient of my gift will be happy when she opens it.

I've been looking for an extremely affordable but nice looking pearl necklace that I can wear casually and this price (~$14) is unbeatable. When looked at closely, the pearls are not all perfectly/consistently round and are not as luminescent as they look in the picture, but from a comfortable personal-space-sized distance they look neat and round. I'd feel comfortable wearing this to work and to nice dinners, but will probably be on the lookout for a pearl necklace with a brighter shine and slightly rounder and larger pearls. The description says these are potato-shaped pearls of medium luster and it's pretty accurate. You can barely tell they're potato-shaped but I wish the luster was a little higher, though the pearls are nicely smooth.
Update:
The "8-9 mm Freshwater Knotted Pearl Necklace, 18" also by Amour (the same company) is a much better deal when choosing between these 2, in my opinion. I left a more comparative review on that product page.
