 Pretty, but not exactly what you see March 8, 2010

I really love this necklace, but it's much darker than the stock photo. I wouldn't say mine was cola or brown colored, but kinda purplish and really dark - you can't see the back detail through the gem.

The pendant and chain are just beautiful.. However, the glass, even when held up to the light, is a muddy cola color, not at all red. I found that a bit disappointing.

This pendant was absolutely stunning. It was even more beautiful than the picture. I absolutely love it and have received so many compliments when I have worn it.

I was somewhat skeptical of ordering this after reading the reviews, but had received the earrings as a Christmas gift & wanted the matching necklace. It's obviously a piece of costume jewelry, but serves my purpose of matching the earrings. The chain is pretty & very delicate. It goes with brown reds very nicely. The "garnet" is a little misleading. I think this is referring to color, because it's obviously not a garnet stone. I don't think of it as garnet in color.

I was excited about getting this pendent because of the vibrant red in the picture, but it is more of a brownish color than red. The silver does make up for it though being very striking in the chain and the pattern holding the heart. It is still very pretty, but not as red as the picture displays. It may not be worth the $50, but it is still very pretty.
